SRF/Post Doctoral Fellow
consolidated salary of Rs. 12000/- and Rs. 18000/- per month, respectively at Krishi Vigyan Kendras of the G. B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology.
Selected candidates will be posted at different KVKs situated at hill districts of Uttarakhand. Candidate should possess following qualifications:
(i) Position 1: M.Sc. (Ag.)/Ph.D. in Agronomy
(ii) Position 2: M.V.Sc./M.Sc./ Ph.D. in Animal Science
(iii) Position 3: M.Sc. (Ag.)/ Ph.D. in Horticulture/Vegetable Science/Floriculture.
(iv) Position 4: M.Tech./ Ph.D. (Agricultural Engineering)
(v) Position 5: M.Sc. (Ag.)/ Ph.D. in Soil Science
(vi) Position 6: M.Sc. (Ag.)/ Ph.D. in Entomology/Plant Pathology or M.Sc./ Ph.D. (Plant Production)
Candidates having Ph.D. Degree with experience may be considered for P.D.F. The engagement is initially for a period of 6 months which may be extended on performance of candidate till the recruitment of regular staff. The services of SRF/P.D.F. can be terminated at any time without prior notice.
Experience in computer work/ skill in communication will be desirable qualification. Persons earlier engaged in Rural Work/Extension Education and have worked in hills may get preference.
