invites application for 4 (four) Indian Oil Golden Jubilee Research Fellowships 

Indian nationals are invited to apply for Indian Oil Golden Jubilee Research Fellowships to work in any of the emerging areas of 1. lubricants - 2 Vacancies 2. Tribology, Biotechnology and Nanotechnology - 2 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have completed their Master's degree from a recognized university in India in Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering, Physics(Nanotechnology). Microbiology, Biotechnology.
• The candidate must have cleared all the exams from Graduation and Post graduation level in First Class scoring above 65% marks in the final exams.
• Preference shall be given to candidates who have cleared either the GATE, CSIR/UGC NET exam. However, in case the candidate joins the Fellowship he/she shall not be allowed to avail the GATE,CSIR/ UGC fellowships.

Selected candidates will undertake 3 years of PHD Research work in India and 6 months of Research work in Deakin University, Australia. All selected applicants would be registered for PhD at Deakin University Australia and receive a 100% Tuition fee scholarship, one time economy class return airfare to Australia and stipend for the time spent in Australia.

IOCL would offer a fellowship amount which will be 25% more than what is offered under University Grants Commission/CSIR Research Fellowship scheme with a provision of increment by 10% every year, HRA @ 30% of the fellowship amount for the period of study in India.

The Fellow will be required to apply for a valid Indian passport, procure required overseas insurance and bear other expenses.
