The Institute undertakes a wide range of R&D projects in marine chemicals, coordination chemistry, catalytic transformations, membrane separation, solar thermal applications, marine algae, stress tolerant plant, and stress genomics. The Institute has excellent infrastructure by way of sophisticated analytical instruments, modern laboratories, pilot plants, library, local area network and workshop.

Post No. 2.1 :-Environmental Microbiologist | Scientist Group IV (3)

The candidate may also be required to assist in relevant aspects of projects pertaining to EIA, environmental audit and coastal zone management.Essential Educational Qualification and Experience: Ph. D in Environmental Microbiology with minimum 4 years of additional research experience in the area of the job. The candidate must provide evidence of research publications in the relevant area.Desirable: Masters degree in Marine Biology is desirable.
