Senior Technical Assistant - 2 Posts
Qualification MSc Life Sciences/Physical Sciences with at least 55% marks Preference will be given to candidates having experience in handling of Confocal Microscope and Real Time PCR
Salary: Rs. 11,000/- p.m. + House Rent as admissible
Research Fellow - 6 Posts
Qualifications MSc in any discipline of Biological Sciences with at least 55% marks (SC/ST- 50 %) in the following areas:
(1) Characterization of microbes by genomic fmger printing
(2) Qualitative analysis of cyanobacterial population in rice paddy ecosystem and their preservation
(3) Bioprospection of selected medicinal plants for their anti-cancer, anti diabetic, anti-helminthic and anti-ageing properties
(4) Electronic herbaria and computer-aided storage and retrieval system: establishment of gene bank
(5) Bioprospection of plant genetic resources of north-east India for novel antimicrobial peptide, cloning and in vitro expression of genes coding for these peptides
(6) Study of genome instability induced by various environment factors
Fellowship: 8000/- p.m.+ House Rent as admissible
