Abstracts

Abstracts submission guidelines:

• Registration for the conference is a separate process. You can also participate in the conference without submitting an abstract.

• You can register for the conference earlier to avail the early bird discounts and submit the abstract later if you don’t have it ready.

• The abstracts are being accepted now and the submission deadline has been extended till 30 September 2010.

• The abstracts word limit is 300 words excluding the author names and affiliations.

• Please indicate the presenting author with email address and phone number.

Awards for oral and poster presentations

Best overall oral presentation award: Rs. 15,000/-

Best overall poster presentation award: Rs. 10,000/-

There will be at least 10 poster awards and 5 oral awards to students and postdoctoral fellows based on the submitted abstracts and the actual presentation of the work at the conference.

Oral presentation

At least two scientific sessions will be assigned for oral presentations by students. The time limit for oral presentations will be 10 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for discussion.

Poster presentation

There will be two poster sessions during the 4 day conference. The first group will display the posters on 11th and 12th December and the second group will display it on 13th and 14th December. Presenting authors should be present at their assigned poster board during the hours they are scheduled to present to discuss their work with the delegates.
