The Seattle-India Global Infectious diseases (GID) training program workshop is focused on Plasmodium, Leishmania, mycobacteria and other important intracellular pathogens.

The workshop advisory committee invites applications from promising Junior Faculty for attendance at the "Advanced Technologies and Research Proposal Development" workshop, This workshop, to take place on the JNU campus in New Delhi, will entail five days of activities including bioinformatics training research proposal/project development, round·table discussions on research ethics and laboratory management, and lectures on current research and technologies by GID consortium faculty from Seallie and Delhi.

Attendees will also present their recent findings in poster sessions, Approximately 20 participants will be selected to attend the meeting based on a submitted abstract and curriculum vita. There is no registration fee for the selected candidates, the workshop will support the cost oftravel by economy air within India, board, and shared lodging.
