PRACTICALS:

Isolation techniques:

· Isolation of Stem cells from Peripheral blood / Bone marrow / Cord Blood.
· Dilutions and Cell Counting
· Cell Viability Testing.
· Isolation of stromal vascular fraction from Adipose tissue.
· Isolation of Wharton’s jelly derived stem cell
· Pyrogen/ Endotoxin testing.
Flow cytometry:

· Basics of the FACS (Fluorescent Acivated Cell Sorter) instrument.
· Quality control checking in FACS.
· compensation.

• Gating strategies (Histogram/plots)
• Differential Count Analysis by FACS.
