Names of the Projects:
Project 1: Three dimensional reconstruction of macromolecular assemblies using Cryoelectron microscopy
Project 2: Studies on mechanism of cell death in Leishmania donovani induced by anti- Leishmanial agents

Positions available: Two
Project 1:
Essential qualification:
1. Master’s degree in Biophysics/Bioinformatics/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Life Sciences/related fields in first class. The candidate should also have obtained a First class in the Bachelor’s degree and in the School leaving examinations.
2. Only candidates who have qualified CSIR / UGC / DBT/ ICMR JRF may apply.
Desirable: Experience in general biochemical and biophysical techniques including protein purification; Interest in structural biology; Experience in a Linux/Unix environment and programming with C, Fortran, Perl, Python is especially relevant.
Project 2:
Essential qualification:
1. Master’s degree in Biophysics /Bioinformatics /Biochemistry /Biotechnology/ Life Sciences in first class. The candidate should also have obtained a First class in the Bachelor’s degree and in the School leaving examinations.
2. Only candidates who have qualified CSIR / UGC / DBT/ ICMR JRF need to apply.
Desirable: Experience in cell and parasite culture especially Leishmania; familiarity with common biochemical and biophysical techniques
