CSIR JRF/SRF/RA Fellowship Increase Rs 16,000/18,000/22,000 | Effective from 1st April 2010

The Governing Body (GB), CSIR in its 176th meeting held on 15th June 2010 considered the proposal for enhancement of various Fellowships, The enhanced rate of Fellowships, effective from 1st April 2010, are as follows:

1. JRF-NET Rs 16000
2. JRF-NET- LS or GATE qualified CSIR supported EMR projects Rs 12000 
3. JRF-GATE with degree in professional courses (tenable at CSIR labs) Rs 16000
4. SRF-Direct in basic sciences Rs 18000
5. SRF-Direct with Graduate degree in professional courses Rs 18000
6. SRF-Direct with Postgraduate degree in professional courses I 18000 
7. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Fellowship (SPMF) Rs 20000
8. SRF-Extended (one year only) 20000
9. Research Associate-I Rs 22000
10. Research Associate-II23000
11. Research Associate-III 24000 2
12. CSIR Diamond Jubilee Research Internship (tenable at CSIR labs only) Rs 15000

Contingency amount @ Rs, 70000/-p,a, in case of SPM Fellows & @ Rs, 20000/- p,a. in case of all other Research Fellows/Associates remains the same.
