Name of the Project & Principal Investigator (PI) Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) for the management of major seed-borne diseases and enhancement of seed quality of vegetables and planting malerials for North Eastern Region of India.

Emoluments (Fixed) PM Rs. 14000/plus 30% HRA (Fixed)

Essential: M.Sc (Agri.) Pl ant Pathology or M.Sc. Plant Biotechnology or Plant Molecular Biology specialized in Plant Pathology wi th NET/ equivalent qualification as per the guidelines for SRF appointment. 

Desirable: Minimum two years work experience on

1.Plant Growlh Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) / bioagents [or the management of crop diseases.

2. Field surveys in difrerent states, isolation and maintenance of plan I pathogens and biocontrol strains.

3. Mechanisms in diseases resistance using biochemical and molecular techniques. Proficiency in computer and molecular data anal sis.

No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
