1. Project Assistant : 02 Nos.
Project title : To study the biodiversity of microbes in the deep water corals of Andaman & Nicobar island. (Funded by Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India).
Fellowship: Rs. 12,000/- per month plus HRA @ 20%.
Eligibility and Selection : Candidates with Master's degree or equivalent with 60% aggregate marks (50% marks for SC/ST candidates) in any branch of Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Biochemistry are eligible to apply.
Desirable qualification: Preference will be given to the candidates having research experience in Microbiology and molecular biology areas.
2. Senior Research Fellow /Research Associate : 01 Nos.
Project title : Plant derived mammalian immune responsive defensin proteins peptide to induce host protective immunity and its implication in translational research (Funded by CSIR, Govt. of India).
Fellowship : As per CSIR norms
Eligibility and Selection : Candidates having GATE/NET qualification with first class M.Sc., 2-3 years of research experience in Plant molecular biology for SRF position and a Ph.D. in Plant Sciences for Research Associate position should to apply.
Upper age limit : 30 years.
Date of walk in Interview : 20th April, 2011.
The interested/ eligible candidates may appeared before the selection committee at Institute of Life Sciences, Nalco square, Bhubaneswar - 751 023 with detailed bio-data along with one set of attested xerox copy of certificates, mark-sheets, experience certificates etc at 9.00 AM on 20th April, 2011.
