Project “Molecular and genetic characterization of Drosophila and mouse Ataxin-2 binding protein 1 in the context of spinocerebellar Ataxia type 2” funded by the Department of Science and Technology.
Minimum prescribed educational Qualifications/experience PhD (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or allied Sciences). Minimum 60% marks/equivalent grade at Masters Level.
Preference will be given to candidates with good academic / industry records and capable of managing a project independently.
Job requirement
Work with a team of graduate students and project assistants to characterize Drosophila and mouse Ataxin-2 binding protein 1 in the context of spinocerebellar Ataxia type 2.Tenure of the project Initially for a period of one year, extendable for further period of two years subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of the study project.Consolidated fixed emoluments per month Rs. 22,000/- to Rs. 24,000/- per month based on academic record and work experience of the candidate + HRA as admissible
