Applications are invited from candidates having Masters Degree in Science and a valid National Level Fellowship JRF/SRF of various funding agencies (UGC/CSIR/DBT/ICMR/BINC/INSPIRE or other equivalent fellowships) for Ph.D. programme at CSIR-IHBT:

(i). Biological Sciences- Agriculture Sciences/ Agronomy/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Botany/ Entomology/ Forestry and Environmental Sciences/ Floriculture/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Microbiology/Nanotechnology/ Plant Pathology/ Plant Physiology/ Remote Sensing; and 

Projects Assistants already working at CSIR-IHBT for a minimum of one year are eligible to apply. They are required to submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP) and recommendation of the proposed Guide (with whom the candidate is undergoing project work and desires to undertake the thesis work).
