I)    PROJECT FACULTY:    No. of vacant posts : ONE  (MBC-1) 

Post No.1 (MBC)  Rs.35,000/p.m. (fixed)

Eligibility Conditions: 

 
i. Master’s Degree in Genomics / Biology / Biotechnology / Genetics / Biochemistry with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.

ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC  like SLET/SET. 

 
iii. Holders of  Ph.D. Degree in the relevant subject shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. 

 
iv.  A relaxation of 5% will be provided at the Master’s level for the SC / ST/Differently      Abled    

v.  A relaxation of 5%,  from 55% to 50% of the marks will be provided  to the Ph.D. Degree holders, who have passed their Master’s Degree prior to 19th  September  991.

Desired Qualifications:   Ph.D. in Genomics / Biology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Genetics.  Teaching / research experience in the area of Genomic Science / Proteomics /  Biochemistry / Molecular Biology / Immunology  / after Ph.D.   Candidates should have published research papers in peer reviewed International and National Journals.  Should have expertise to teach and lead a research group in the above areas.
