Director General (Extension) Room No. 145, ICFRE H. Q. Building, Forest Research Institute Campus, Dehradun from 10:30 AM.

1. EIA/ EMP for Thana Plaun HE Project, HPPCL, Himachal Pradesh
2. EIA/ EMP for Beri Nichli HE Project, HPPCL, Himachal Pradesh

1. Project Associate

Essential Qualification  Ph. D/First Class Post Graduate in Forestry/ Botany/Environmental Sciences having 3 years experience in EIA/ Social studies in developmental projects

Desirable Qualification Knowledge of Computer and working experience in Environmental Impact Assessment.

2. Senior Project Fellow –2 Posts

Essential Qualification Ph. D/First Class Post Graduate in Forestry/ Botany/Environmental Sciences having 3 years experience in EIA/ Social studies in developmental projects

Desirable Qualification Knowledge of Computer and working experience in Environmental Impact Assessment.

Period: Vacancies are initially for a period of one year or till the completion of projects whichever is earlier. May be extended at the discretion of the competent authority if need so arises.

General Conditions: Awards of the assignment on contract are governed by the prevailing Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education Rules and other relevant Rules as applicable, and do not guarantee subsequent employment under the Council. All interested and eligible candidates must reach on 02.08.2011 before 9:30 AM at the office of ADG (EIA), at ICFRE H.Q.
