NAIP Project on “Bioprospecting of gene and allele mining for abiotic stress tolerance (Maize Component)”, [PI: Dr. T. Nepolean, Senior Scientist, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi-110012].
PAY SCALE: Rs. 16,000/- + 30% HRA per month.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: Master’s degree in Genetics/ Plant breeding/ Biotechnology/ Plant Molecular Biology/ Botany/ Biochemistry.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION: Research experience in applications of molecular markers, gene expression analyses and high throughput marker data generation in crops.
AGE: Maximum age of 35 years (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC).
The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially up to March 2012, but may be extended further based on the performance of the candidate or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier. The candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project. The interview of eligible candidates will be held on 24 August, 2011 at 10.00 AM in the chamber of Head, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi 110012.
