Walk-in-Interview for Research Associate/ Junior Research Fellow/ Senior Research Fellow Positions

Applications are invited for a walk in interview to be held in the Conference Room of the Department of Biotechnology on 27 September 2011 at 2:30pm for temporary positions of RS/SRF/JRF in 1. DBT, Govt. of India, funded project entitled " Studies on Peptide-conjugated nanoparticles mediated antileishmanial drug delivery to macrophages

2. ICMR, Govt. of India, funded project entitled “An integrated computational and biochemical approach to target ornithione decarboxylase, a key enzyme involved in synthesis of trypanothione for antileishmanial drug discovery

Scale of pay: Up to Rs. 23,000 (Consolidated) depending on position, qualification and
funding agency + HRA as per institute rules

Qualification: PhD in any life science related subjects. Candidate with M.Sc/B.Tech/M.Tech in any life science related subjects will be considered for JRF/SRF position.

Terms: Appointment will be initially made for a period of one (1) year and may be extended for up to maximum duration of the project.

Application & Selection procedure: Candidates have to appear in the walk-in-interview in person along with an application/CV on plain paper giving details of all educational qualifications, experience and submit photocopies of relevant documents at the time of interview. Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview.

Candidates will not be sent any interview call letter separately. No TA/DA will be paid to
