Number of vacancies: Not fixed. Depending upon the work requirement and the number of suitable candidates available, the total number of vacancies may vary from 10 to 15 irrespective of disciplines.

Essential qualifications: M.Sc. (Ag.) in the relevant discipline or M.Sc. in Life Sciences.

Age limit:  Not more than 35 years for men and not more than 40 years for women on the date of interview. Age relaxation for women candidates will be applicable as per rules. The above age limits are relaxable for SC, ST and OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.

Emoluments: Rs. 16,000/- PM+HRA for the first two years and Rs. 18,000/- PM+HRA in the third year
