Project Assistant in Wildlife Genetics Programme
Project name: Noninvasive assessment of the status of tiger and other major co-predators in the forests of Meghalaya
Project duration: Two year (may be extended later), however the appointment will initially be only for one year
Desired qualification: Minimum of Bachelor Degree in science. M.Sc. holders will be given preference
Additional: He/ she would need to work in the field, mostly in difficult hilly terrains for prolonged period of time. He/ she will get full opportunity to learn advanced genetic techniques in the laboratory, applicable in the field of conservation genetics.
Payment: negotiable, based on qualification and experience
