Applications are invited for a Junior Research Fellow position in a DST research project, entitled “Molecular and cellular characterization of the therapeutic potential of PLA2G2A, a novel biomarker gene in metastatic gastric cancer” to work under the guidance of Dr.G.Kumaresan, Associate Professor, Dept. of Genetics, School of Biological Sciences, Madurai Kamaraj University.
Qualification: M.Sc., in any branch of Life Science with a minimum of 6 months hands-on experience in a Cell Biology Project. Candidates without extensive hands-on experience in Cell Biological Techniques will not be considered.
Candidates with passion towards research career in Cancer Biology / Cellular Genomics and willing to work in a highly competitive research atmosphere are encouraged to apply.
Fellowship: As per DST norms, Duration: Until the project period of September 2012.
