Applications are invited for the post of TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (instrument maintenance) in the Networking Resource Centre in Biological Sciences, School of
Biological Sciences, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, supported by M/s. Invitrogen Bioservices India Pvt Ltd., Bangalore. The posts is purely temporary and on contract basis for the program period.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANT: No. of post: ONE (for the operation & maintenance of DNA Sequencer Facility) Rs.20,000/p.m. (fixed)

Educational & Essential Qualifications: M.Sc., Life Sciences or related areas /Chemistry / Physics / B.Tech., Biotechnology. Candidates with good working experience in handling sophisticated instruments like Next Generation Sequencer, Capillary Sequencer, LC-MS/MS, Microarray, 2-D electrophoresis, RT-PCR, computer lab etc. Experience in using Bioinformatics related software/programmes will also be preferred.
