WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

A walk-in interview will be held on 18.05.2012 at 10:00 hrs. at National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow for the following post on contractual basis under the project titled "Development of Novel Microsatellites in Channa Species (Channidae: Perciformes) from North East for Conservation Genetics" funded by DBT. Eligible and desirous candidate fulfilling all the requirements should come for an interview with application giving full details of academic records and experience(s) alongwith attested photocopy as well as original copy of the relevant documents and a passport size photograph. The other details are as follows:

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Upto 31st March, 2015 or co-terminus with the project

`16,000/-+HRA for the 1st two years (JRF) and
`18000/-+HRA for the 3rd year (SRF) only if,  JRF/SRF is NET/GATE/BET/BING qualified, otherwise, it shall be `12,000/-+HRA for the 1st two years (JRF) and `14,000/-+HRA for the 3rd year (SRF)

21-35 years

Essential: Master in Fisheries Science/Biotechnology/Zoology/Life sciences with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average.

Desirable: Candidate should be NET/GATE qualified. Experience in Molecular Research Techniques, Bioinformatics and Computer Skills.

Terms & Conditions:-
1. Above position is purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project or may be terminated earlier by the competent authority without assigning any reasons.
2. Age relaxation will be 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
3. Place of work will be at NBFGR, Lucknow or as indicated above.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in Interview.
5. All eligible candidates are requested to be present 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of Interview for necessary formalities.
6. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature.
7. The Director's decision will be final and binding in all respects.
