The following personnel for a DST project entitled ‘The effects of maternal sleep deprivation on congnition in the offspring in an animal model’ (P-8063)

1. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW- One vacancy

Qualification & Experience : 1st class MSc in Neuroscience/Physiology/ (Essential) Zoology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology and NET.

Desirable : Experience in cognitive behaviour testing and computer skills.

Emoluments : Rs 16,000/-+ 20% HRA (Consolidated) pm

2. SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW – One vacancy

Qualification & Experience : 1st class MSc in Neuroscience/Physiology/ (Essential) Zoology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology with NET and Two years research experience.

Desirable : Ability to record electrophysiological signals and analyse signals. Computer skills.

Emoluments : Rs 18,000/-+ 20% HRA (Consolidated) pm

Age Limit (Post 1 & 2) : Below 35 years as on 30-4-2012 Time of reporting } : 9.00 AM of the candidates }

Duration : Three years or till completion of the project whichever is earlier.

Interested and qualified candidates are invited to appear for written test/ interview as per the above schedule along with bio-data and original and attested copies of certificates to prove their qualification, age, experience etc. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Candidates who report after 9:15 A.M will NOT be considered for the selection. If necessary, the candidates may have to attend a written test. Only successful candidates will be called for interview. Candidates already in service have to produce No Objection Certificate from the present employer at the time of interview.
