Walk-In Interview for the post of Junior Research Fellow
Candidates who have passed the national written test like UGC-CSIR NET (Lectureship or JRF), BET, ICMR EXAM (JRF- PROJECT)/BET may appear for the walk-in-interview on 07– 06 –2012 at 11 A.M. for the post of Junior Research Fellow in the project entitled “Long term effect of arsenic exposure on placental vasculogenesis in mice” in the Department of Reproductive and Cyto-toxicology of the institute. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
This project is under DBT’s Twinning programme for the North Eastern Region, Agartala Medical College, Agartala.
Junior Research Fellow (One)
Rs. 16000 + 10% HRA
Essential: M.Sc. in Zoology/Biochemistry/Molecular biology/ Biotechnology with good academic record and should pass the National written test like UGC-CSIR NET, ICMR-JRF , DBT-BET, and NET Qualified for lectureship and ICMR exam qualified for the JRF Project post will also be considered.
* Candidates without national test can also be considered for JRF (Rs. 12000+10%
HRA)
Desirable: Experience in the field of either Reproductive, Molecular biology and animal handling
• Handling of mice, dosing, autopsy, blood & tissue collection
• To carry out laboratory work related to histological, biochemical and molecular
techniques
• Computation of data and report writing
Below 28 years
Age relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/ PH as per rules
