PAY SCALE:- Consolidated Salary @ Rs. 60947/- fixed pay.

Post 1: Scientist in DBT Capacity

Building Project Scientist – III (Scientist – D)

a) MD (Paediatrics) from a recognized university or M.Sc (biotechnology /biochemistry or any other branch of human biology) with PhD / MBBS with Ph.D in biological sciences

b) 5 years post – MD clinical, teaching and research experience in Paediatrics in a recognized institution including one year clinical and research experience in Paediatric Endocrinology or post Ph.D. 5 years research or teaching experience.
c) Two publications in biomedical sciences in indexed journal)

Post 2: Scientist in DBT Capacity

Building Project Scientist – III (Scientist – D)

a) M.Sc. (Zoology/biotechnology/biochemistry/ microbiology/ genetics/ immunology/ or any other branch of human biology/MBBS, with Ph.D in molecular human biology or related area from a recognized university.

b) Post Ph. D. 5 years research experience including one year experience in Cancer Biology.

c) Two publications in indexed journals in the field of Cancer Biology.

UPPER AGE LIMIT FOR Scientist –III (Scientist – D):- 50 Years, relaxable for Government Servants, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes candidates or otherwise exceptionally qualified candidates. Upper age limit upto 5 years is relaxable for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and 3 years in the case of OBC candidates.
