Microbiology/Virology SRF Walk In @ Indian Veterinary Research Institute

WALK-IN INTERVIEW

Walk –in interview will be held for one post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) to work in the project “ Application of FMDV replicon for development of replication defective virus: A strategy towards the development of attenuatd vaccine with marker facility” under ICAR - Scientist Emeritus Scheme, at Foot and Mouth Research Laboratory, Indian Veterinary Research Campus, Hebbal, Bangalore-560024. The project is for two years (1st September 2012 to 31st August 2014). The appointment is purely temporary on contractual basis and there will be no provision for absorption/re-employment in IVRI after termination the project. The
position is up to 31st August 2014.

Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Science / Veterinary Science ( MSc/MVSc) with major in Microbiology/Virology/Biotechnology/Genetics with experience in recombinant DNA technology.

Desirable : Experience in handling animal cell culture.

Emoluments : Rs 16,000/- pm for Pure Science and 18,000 pm for Veterinary Graduate. Plus HRA as per rules.

Age limit: Below 35 years (Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/Woman and 3 years for OBC candidates.
