Workshop-III under DBT-AAU Centre

The DBT-AAU centre Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India, New Delhi is organizing its third workshop - "Biotechnology to Nanotechnology for the improvement in Agriculture" during Feb 6 – 9, 2013.

The focus of the workshop will be to sensitise researchers (Scientists / Research Associates / JRF / PhD scholars / Post graduate students) of Assam Agricultural University and other organizations of North East India in the areas of Nanotechnology, Molecular Genetics and breeding, Biocontrol / Molecular pest control mechanism etc. International experts from USA, Switzerland, Philippines will deliver lectures and conduct hands on training.

Interested Post doctoral Researchers / PhD Scholars from different organizations including AAU may apply through email along with detailed Curriculum Vitae. Application should reach the undersigned on or before 25th January, 2013. Selected candidates will be informed by email only about their selection. There is no Registration fee. However, participants have to manage their travel expenses of their own. DBT-AAU centre will provide accommodation and working lunch to the participants.
