SBRC Kanpur invites applications from highly motivated candidates interested in pursuing research careers in inter-disciplinary areas of biosciences pertaining to system biology. Sanve Biosciences Research Centre (SBRC) is a innovative research centre in field of life sciences. The laboratory has facilities for Computational and Modern Biology and would like to initiate trainings, project or dissertation program for students. A very unique initiative in India in the field of Biological Sciences sector. To provide exposure to students pursuing careers in Life Sciences that suits the demands of industry and research laboratories to make and share his innovative ideas to others. To meet the demand of the bio-industry and research institutes by nurturing quality professionals interested in bringing about breakthrough innovations.
Training Program: It is a some conventional classroom lectures based training program. Instead, each selected candidate/trainee will be assigned to a SBRC staff scientist who will supervise/mentor him/her during the program. Each student is expected to execute a project work under the guidance of the scientist. At the end of the program, student will need to submit a soft copy of ‘Project Report’ of the work done.
Eligibility: The training program is open to students/research scholars from all branches of sciences and open to all Indian universities/colleges and research institutes.
Studentship: The selected students will be provided Rs.3000/- for the entire training period.
How To Apply: Candidates should be download application form and registration fee chalan through the SBRC website www.sbrc.org.in, and sent to, The Director, Sanve Biosciences Research Centre, House No. 7A, Siddartha Nagar, Gooba Garden, Kanpur- 208017 or also sent scan copy of application form and bank chalan via email: sbrcdir@gmail.com. Completed application (Hard copy or soft copy) for the program MUST reach SBRC by the last Saturday of February 2013 (24/2/2013). Here, it may be noted that no separate intimation will be sent to any candidate, and thus all applicants must look for his/her name in the ‘selection list’ on SBRC homepage only after last date. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
