Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Job Description: To subclone, design mutants, express and purify proteins. Perform biochemical, biophysical, structural and cell-based studies on Hax-1 and HtrA2 proteins to characterize their interaction and understand the underlying mechanism of apoptotic regulation.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in biochemistry, biotechnology and biological sciences from a recognized university with not less than 55% aggregate marks.
Experience: Prior experience in molecular cloning, protein expression and purification and cell biology work. Experience in using different chromatographic techniques, molecular biology techniques is expected. Basic understanding and experience in biophysical techniques such as fluorescence spectroscopy and circular dichroism is desirable.

The interviews would be held on 25th March, 2013. Only registered* candidates should report at 09.30 a.m. on 25th March, 2013 (in Steno Pool), 3rd floor, Khanolkar Shodhika, ACTREC, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. Candidates reporting after 9.30 a.m. will not be allowed for the interview. No T.A./D.A. will be admissible for attending the interview.
At the time of Interview the candidate should bring originals along with covering letter with statement of purpose and CV with contact details of 2 referees and submit the photocopies (attested) of the certificates, with a recent passport size photograph.
*The candidate should register by applying through email in the given format to program office. The candidate will not receive any interview call letter from the office. The eligible candidates can straight away walk in for the interview on the scheduled day.
