The Institute Technology Management Unit (ITMU) funded under XI Plan Scheme on “Intellectual Property Management and Transfer/ Commercialization of Agricultural Technologies” invites application for filling up positions of two Research Associates with net emoluments of Rs 23000 + HRA.

Job Description: The selected candidate (s) upon engagement will required to assist and support the scientists and management in facilitating the functions of the Institute Technology Management Unit (ITMU) of IARI in IPR management of different inventions including processes, products and technologies including agrochemicals, agro-technologies, microbiological and biotechnology products and their processes leading to commercialization to industry and also in taking up and implementation of various sponsored, contract and consultancy projects with public and private sectors in agriculture and related allied sciences and biotechnology fields.

1 1. M.Sc. in Life Sciences and Post graduate diploma on Patents/ IPR Management

2. 1st Division or 60% marks at Masters level

Desirable

Two years of working experience on Patent search, drafting and filing and other IPRs
