Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India funded project “Gene Targeting of Microbial Isolates to Demonstrate Potential Plant Growth Promoting (PGP) Traits by Third Generation Sequencing

Interested and eligible candidates can send the curriculum vitae along with testimonials to the Principle Investigator on or before 20th August 2013. The date of interview will be communicated by email. No TA/DA will be given for the interview.

The tenure of the post is for 3 years and is purely temporary.

Emoluments/Fellowship for the post is Rs 16,000 p.m + HRA.

Selected candidates should be available to report for duty within 10 days.

CSIR-NET candidates will be given preference.

Eligibility: First class M.Sc. Microbiology /Plant Science with relevant experience and publications. Knowledge of molecular techniques (sequencing, PCR, etc) is desirable.
