RECRUITMENT OF SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW

Applications are invited from eligible candidates with the following qualification for selection of SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW on contract basis for a period of three years under the Protection of Plant Variety and Farmers’ Right Authority, Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India, New Delhi approved project entitled “Development of Distinctness, Uniformity and Stability (DUS) descriptors for mulberry (Morus spp.) and their validation”, as detailed below.  The position is for the project period and is co-terminus with the project.

Essential Qualification

First Class M.Sc. in Botany / Sericulture / Sericulture Technology / Biotechnology / Genetics

OR

First Class or equivalent grade in M.Sc. (Agri) with specialization in Genetics and Plant Breeding

Experience

Candidate should have a minimum two years of research experience in the relevant area.

Emoluments Consolidated amount of Rs. 16,000 + HRA

Contract period Three (3) years

Terms and Conditions

Candidate should not exceed 32 years of age as on the closing date of application. 

The engagement of SRF is exclusively for the above mentioned project. 

The engagement will be contractual and on purely temporary basis in the project funded by the PPV&FRV, New Delhi for a maximum period of three years or co-terminus with the project, if the project terminates earlier.

The engagement under externally funded project does not confer any right / claim whatsoever.

NO TA / DA WILL BE PAID FOR ATTENDING THE WRITTEN TEST / INTERVIEW.   

Canvassing in any form and / or bringing in any influence, political or otherwise will be treated as disqualification for attending the interview. No interim enquiries will be entertained.
