Walk in interview for ad-hoc/temporary posts of Research Associate (Rs. 24000+30%HRA) and Senior Research Fellow (Rs. 16000+30%HRA) will be held on 25th  October 2013 at 9.30 am, for ICAR Network Project on Insect Biosystematics/AICOPTAX – Coleoptera, MoE&F coterminous with their duration. Eligible candidates with M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Entomology/Zoology (Entomology)/Life Sciences/Biotechnology may appear. For Research Associates experience in projects of similar nature is must.

Rs. 23000/-+HRA (M.Sc. + 2-3 yrs. research experience)
Rs.16000 in I, II year , Rs. 18000/- for III year +HRA (SRF)

Essential : PhD in Entomology or Zoology with specialization in Entomology or M.Sc. in Entomology or Zoology with specialization in Entomology or M.Sc. in Biological Sciences + at least two years experience in biosystematic studies.

Desirable: Experience in biosystematic studies/biodiversity studies and evidence with publications. For Research Associates experience in projects of similar nature is must.

Age maximum 35 years for SRF 40 years for RA. [Age relaxation of five years of SC/ST & women and three years for OBC candidate(s)]. The above positions are purely temporary and filled on contract basis for an initial period of one year at a time or till termination of the project, whichever is earlier. There is no provision for reengagement after termination of the project. The selected candidate(s) shall not claim for regular appointment(s) at this institute as the fellowship(s)/post(s) are coterminus with the project.

The eligible candidate may attend the walk in interview on the said date at the venue given along with their Biodata giving full particulars including qualifications, experience, papers published, NOC etc, along with attested copies of certificates (only those certificates towards essential qualifications). All the positions are field work oriented and only candidates who are prepared for such duties extending to 20 days/month only apply.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview
