8. Technical Assistant (Technical Assistant)

Essential : Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or any other branch of science/social science relevant to agriculture or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
Desirable: Experience in handling field/ farm experiments.
9. Technical Assistant (Laboratory Technician)

Essential : Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or any other branch of science/social science relevant to agriculture or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
Desirable: Experience in handling biochemical/ molecular biology/ instrumentation/ biotechnology experiments/ handling different laboratory equipments.

A recent passport size photograph duly signed by the applicant must be affixed at the top right corner of the application.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
• Relaxation in age in respect of SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. of India orders. No age limit for ICAR employees.
• Physically Handicapped candidates must submit the disability certificate from the Competent Authority with a minimum degree of disability 40 percent and above.
• Incomplete applications shall be summarily rejected without assigning any reason and the applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
• Candidate must submit along with each completed application a Crossed Demand Draft drawn on any scheduled bank for Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only) as application fee drawn in favour of Director, CRRI payable at Cuttack. No fee for SC/ST/PH/Ex-Servicemen/Women candidates. The application fee is non-refundable.
• The post is non-government under New Pension Scheme introduced by Govt. of India w.e.f. 01.01.2004 mutatis mutandis and as amended and modified from time to time.
• In case of employed person, the application should be routed through proper channel. A copy of “No objection certificate” from their present employer must be attached with the application.
• Mere fulfillment of criteria does not entitle a candidate to be called for test/interview. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification
• Separate application should be submitted for each post.
