Essential Qualification: Master degree in Agricultural Sciences, Mass Communication, Journalism, Economics+2 yrs Experience in relevant field.
Desirable Experiences & Skill:
• Conceptualize, review and write compelling documents, of performance outcomes, Documentation and capabilities descriptions and project plans.
• Conceptualize at a high level; and develop and integrate visually appealing, informative technical graphics and illustrations.
• Interact with/ Interview subject-matter experts to understand the processes, technologies, business process needs, and other contextual details of a subject- matter domain and to elicit the appropriate technical information on climate change adaptation in agriculture & livelihood etc. to compose high-quality technical write-ups.
•Good oral and written communication, Experience in Scientific communication will be preferred & Documentation skills (Copy of the sample of documentation work done by you in past must be shown during interview).
•Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Previous work experience in outdoor field projects of similar type including agriculture/ rural livelihoods

The Head, CESCRA, IARI, New Delhi-110012 wishes to recruit one RA in the above mentioned project purely
on contractual basis. A detail of the position is given above with following terms & conditions:
1. Terms and conditions: The above position is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially for the period upto 31st March 2014 with possibilities of continuation for three months or till the project terminate, if fund is available satisfactory performance /evaluation, or period till termination of the project, whichever is less. The selected candidates will have no claim for regular appointment at this institute as the position is co-terminus with the project.
2. Age limit: 35 years as on the closing date of application. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates will be given as per ICAR rules.
3. The Interview of eligible candidates will be held in the room of Principal Investigator CESCRA, NRL Building IARI, Pusa, and New Delhi on 8th November, 2013 at 10.00 am only the candidates having essential qualification would be entertained for the interview.
4. TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
5. Application with detailed bio-data with one colour passport size photograph pasted on it, attested copy of certificates of age and qualifications, reprints and publications, if any, and no objection certificate from present employer may be submitted to the Head, CESCRA 9.30 am at the time of interview. The candidates should also have the original grade card/ mark sheet of the essential qualification at the time of the interview, failing which they will not be allowed to appear in the interview.
