IISER Mohali Yeast genetics Postdoc Opening

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals to work as Post-doctoral Fellow in a research project funded jointly by the Max-Planck Society, Germany and Department of Science and Technology, India.

Title: Study of regulation of RNA splicing by ubiquitin-like modifiers.

Outline of the project: The project aims to understand role of ubiquitin-related modifiers in regulation of RNA splicing. For this question we will utilize experimental approaches in Molecular Biology, Yeast genetics and Biochemistry.

Positions: 1

Duration: 1 Year (extendable)

Emoluments: As per DST rules

Essential Qualifications: PhD in any branch of Life Sciences with good academic record and first author research publications in reputed journals. Applicants having prior experience with yeast genetics and biochemistry will be preferred.
