1. Development of maize hybrids with enriched iron and zinc Funding Source : RKVY

a. Senior Research Fellow-One (1) @ Rs. 15,000/- p.m. (Consolidated)

Essential qualifications: M.Sc. (Ag). Plant Biotechnology.

Desirable: Research experience in maize molecular biology

b. Technical Assistant- One (1) @ Rs. 8,500/- p.m. (Consolidated)

Essential qualifications: B.Sc. (Ag)/ B.Sc.

Desirable: Lab/Field experience for 1year

2. Marker Assisted Breeding for durable gall midge [Orseolia oryzae (Wood-Mason)] resistance in rice, IBT , Rajendranagar Funding Source : RKVY

a. Senior Research Fellow-One (1) @ Rs. 15,000/- p.m. (Consolidated)

Essential qualifications: M.Sc. (Ag). Plant Biotechnology/ M.Sc. Biotechnology.

Desirable: Research experience in biotechnology/molecular Biology with field  experience in rice particularly hybridization technique

b.Technical Assistant- One (1) @ Rs. 8,500/- p.m. (Consolidated)

Essential qualifications: B.Sc. (Ag)/ B.Sc.

Desirable: Lab/Field experience for 1year

3. Molecular Mapping of QTLs governing sheath blight resistance in rice (Oryza sativa) and their introgression into BPT 5204, IBT , Rajendranagar Funding Source : RKVY

a. Senior Research Fellow-One (1) @ Rs. 15,000/- p.m. (Consolidated)

Essential qualifications: M.Sc. (Ag). Plant Biotechnology/ M.Sc. Biotechnology/M.Sc. (Ag). Plant Pathology/ M.Sc. (Ag). Genetics and Plant Breeding.

Desirable: Research experience in molecular marker analysis and QTL mapping with  field experience in rice particularly hybridization technique and disease screening  methodologies

4. Enhancement of yield by pyramiding of genes / QTLs governing yield and its components through marker assisted backcross breeding in rice.

a.Senior Research Fellow – One (1) @ Rs.15,000/- p.m. (Consolidated)

Essential qualifications: M. Sc Genetics and Plant breeding/ Biotechnology/Life
sciences/Plant sciences

Desirable: Minimum one year experience in molecular marker analysis, QTL mapping and experience in phenotyping of different yield related characters of rice and data management.
