WALK IN INTERVIEW
It is proposed to fill up a temporary position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under an NAIP Project “Harmonizing Biodiversity conservation and Agricultural intensification through integration of Plant, Animal and Fish genetic resources for livelihood security in fragile ecosystems" through a Walk-In-Interview &/ or Written test. Accordingly, eligible and desirous candidates fulfilling the requirements may appear before the selection committee for a personal interview at NBPGR Regional Station, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad-500 030, Andhra Pradesh (Opposite Telephone Exchange/ Municipal Office) as indicated below.

Qualifications
Essential Master’s Degree in Botany/ Agriculture/ Agril.Botany/ Plant Genetic Resources/ Plant Breeding/ Genetics/ Plant Physiology/ Agronomy/ Horticulture with 60% and above.
Desirable
• Candidate having aptitude and work experience on Biodiversity, Crop production and Socio-economic surveys at community level.
• Willing to travel extensively in remote areas and interact with tribal farmers in the study area.
NOTE
• Upper age limit is 35 years for men and 40 years for women. Age limit is relaxable for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates as per Government of India/ ICAR norms.
• Only candidates with 60% and above marks in M.Sc. are eligible to appear for the interview.
• No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• The candidates should reach NBPGR Regional Station, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad by 10:00 A.M. on 18.10.2013.
• Candidates should bring along their Bio-data, a passport size photograph, original mark sheets, certificates and other testimonials for verification and submit attested copies of the same along with the Bio-data.
