SRF Position in DST Project
Applications are invited for one SRF position in the DST funded project entitled "Role of MEDEA a polycomb group repressor of Arabidopsis in pathogenesis"
Essential Qualifications: The candidates should have M.Sc./M.Tech degree in any branch of Life Science and 2 years of Post-M.Sc./M.Tech research experience as evidenced by publications in peer-review research journals.
Desirable qualification: Followings are desirable qualifications which will be used to shortlist the applications.
1) CSIR NET/LS qualification
2) Experiences in plant molecular biology especially with Arabidopsis
The position is available immediately and upto 29-08-2016. Appointed person will be expected to stay in the lab for the entire period. However, the initial appointment will be given only for one year and may be extended in subsequent years upon successful progress.

Project Assistant Position –DBT Project
Applications are invited for project assistant position in DBT funded project entitled "Chromatin remodeling for activation of systemic acquired resistance in Arabidopsis". The position is available immediately and available upto September 27, 2014
Job requirement: Maintaining growth of Arabidopsis, laboratory reagent preparation etc.
Qualifications: Should be at least 10th pass. Should have experience in molecular biology laboratory reagent preparations. Work experience in plant growth room maintenance, especially in Arabidopsis will be preferred.
Candidates will be short-listed initially based on work experience and only short-listed candidates will be called for interview.
Salary: Rs 8,000/ pm consolidated for throughout the period.
