WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
The following contractual posts are to be filled at the institute under externally funded Indo -UK DBT-BBSRC project “Attenuation of FMDV serotypes/strains to develop a stable and effective vaccine for FMD’”. The tenure of the posts is for 3 years. Service will be automatically stand terminated at the end of the contractual period.
A) Research associate : One post, salary : Rs 22,000+ HRA as admissible
Qualifications: Ph.D or M.V.Sc with 3 years experience, in Microbiology /Molecular biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry.
Experience in cell culture and molecular biology techniques is essential
Age: up to 35 years
B) Junior Research Fellow Two Posts
salary: Rs 16,000+HRA as admissible
Qualifications: M.V.Sc or M.Sc (with net qualification), in Microbiology /Molecular biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry.
Working knowledge in cell culture, molecular biology techniques is desirable.
Age : up to 30 years
C) Project Assistant : One post Salary: Rs 8000 Fixed
Qualifications: B.Sc in Biological/Life sciences with computer knowledge. Working experience in research labs is desirable.
Age: Upto 30 years
Age relaxation will be admissible to SC/ST and OBC candidates as per Govt of India rules.
Walk in interviews will be held at IVRI, Hebbal Bangalore on the following dates
JRF 3-4-2014 10AM
RA 4-4 -2014 10AM
Project Assistant 4-4-2014 2PM
The candidates should present at the venue 30mins before the scheduled time. They may have to take written test if required. Applications in advance may be sent to Principal Investigator, DBT-BBSRC project, Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Hebbal, Bangalore-24. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview. Bio-data along with the original certificates/documents including N.O.C from his/her employer should be presented at the time of interview.
The above posts are purely on temporary basis and coterminous with the project. There is no provision for re-employment after the termination of the project.
