Walk-in-interview for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

The post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) is to be filled up under the following research project (AD-HOC project funded by ICMR, India):

1. Immunological study of neurocysticercosis, and estimation of its prevalence among patients with epilepsy by serological diagnosis.

Number of posts ONE

Essential Qualification 1st class MSc in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Medical Laboratory Technology or MSc in Zoology with specialization in Immunology from a recognized university.

Desirable Qualification Candidate should have at least 1 year experience in: collection and handling of clinical specimens, or infectious disease diagnosis, or public health studies.

Age limit and nationality 30 years as on the date of interview; Indian national Emoluments Rs. 16,000.00 per month.

Date and time of interview March 21, 2014 (Friday) 11.00am

Time of reporting 10.00am

The above post is to be filled up on purely temporary basis for an initial period of one year which may be renewable subject to satisfactory performance. Please note that this post will stand automatically terminated after the completion of the project (maximum 2 years) or if funding is discontinued, whichever is earlier.

Terms & Conditions:
1. Since the post is purely temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under KIIT University or continuation of his/her services in any other project.
2. Qualification and experience should be from a recognized University/Organization in India.
3. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
4. Out station candidates will be responsible for their own lodging and boarding; No TA/DA will be provided to attend the Walk-in-Interview.
