WALK -IN INTERVIEW
The Head, Division of Plant Physiology, IARI, New Delhi intends to recruit the outstanding personnel for posts of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and Lab/Field Assistant in the following ICAR-IRRI collaborative project purely on contractual basis. Details of the position are given below:
ICAR-IRRI collaborative project on ‘Free Air CO2 Enrichment (FACE) and temperature interaction in a rice-rice cropping system’
Senior Research Fellow (SRF) One
Rs. 16,000 + 30% HRA
Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Botany/Plant Physiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences (preferably Plant Sciences) from a recognized University.
Desirable Qualification: Hands on experience in molecular biological techniques, and their application in Plant Physiology.
Lab/Field Assistant One
Rs. 8918/- Consolidated
Essential Qualification: 10+2 with good academic record.
Desirable: Hands on experience of working on planting material and or in experimental/agricultural fields/laboratory
Terms & Conditions
Age limit: Not more than 35 years. Age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC.
(i) The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially up to December 31, 2015, which may be extended periodically subjected to performance till the termination of the project.
(ii) The candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is coterminus with the project.
(iii) The interview of eligible candidates will be held on 21 April, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Committee Room of the Division of Plant Physiology, IARI, New Delhi 110012.
(iv) Reporting time: 9:30 AM
(v) The candidates will have to bring a copy of bio-data, original certificates, attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph. The original degree of Master of Science or provisional is essentially to be brought while attending the interview, failing which candidate will not be allowed to attend the interview.
(vi) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
(vii) Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.
(viii) Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or
termination.
(ix) The candidates are required to submit the application at the time of interview only in the format annexed along with the declaration
(x) The candidate intending to visit for interview, if any of his near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, have to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship in advance in writing so as to reach Head, Division of Plant Physiology, on or before 20-04-2014 by post/hand or email to head_physio@iari.res.in. If on the date of interview such declaration is furnished and found that his relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI, such candidate will not be allowed for interview.
(xi) All the other candidates are also required to compulsorily furnish the declaration duly signed in the format annexed and submit on the date of interview.
