WALK-IN-INTERVIEW for R.A.
Indian Council of Agricultural Research has set up an Institute Technology Management at Central Institute of Fisheries Education under ICAR Plan Scheme entitled “Intellectual Property Management and Transfer/Commercialization of Agricultural Technology scheme (up-scaling of existing components i.e Intellectual Property Rights) for XIth plan. It has the responsibility for Intellectual Property (IP) protection, maintenance and Technology transfer /Commercialization at Institute level in coordination/collaboration/assistance with other establishments (ZTMC and ATMC) of ICAR.
We are looking for one Research Associate (RA) for ITMU. A Walk-in-Interview for filling up the vacant position of Research associate will be held as per the details, on 16.6.2014 at 11.00 A.M. in the Committee Room at CIFE Yari Road Campus, Mumbai .
1. Title of the project: Intellectual Property Management and Transfer/Commercialization of Agricultural Technology scheme (up-scaling of existing components i.e Intellectual Property Rights) for XIth plan at CIFE, Mumbai.
2. Name and Number of positions: Research Associate (RA)-One number
3. Essential Qualification-
Master’s Degree in any branch of Science/Fisheries/Agriculture/Business Management/Commerce/Economics/Computer Science/Law/IPR/Arts
and minimum two years working experience after Master’s degree.
Or
Doctoral Degree in any branch of Science/Fisheries/Agriculture/Business Management/Commerce/Economics/Computer Science/Law/IPR/Arts
4. Desirable qualification: Working Knowledge of Intellectual Property Protection,Maintenance and Technology transfer/Commercialization, Patent search, Patent drafting.
5. Emoluments: Rs. 24,000 /- per month for Doctoral degree holder and Rs. 23,000/- per month for Master’s degree holder (Consolidated). HRA will be given as per rule.
6. Responsibilities: To assist Project Investigator (s) at ITMU in achieving the objectives of ITMU at CIFE as per ICAR Policy Guidelines on IP Management and Technology Transfer/Commercialization and any other work assigned to him/her from time to time.
7. Date and Venue of Interview: 16.6.2014 at 11.00 A.M. at Committee Room, CIFE Yari Road, Mumbai
8. Duration of engagement: The engagement is performance based and co-terminus with the project.
9. Terms and conditions:
• Upper age limit 40 years for men and 45 years for women as on the date of interview.
• Position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Selected candidate will not be entitled to claim for regular appointment /absorption with in this Institute or ICAR.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Candidates should appear for Walk-in-Interview with Bio-data, two passport size
photographs and original certificates/testimonial with one set of attested photocopies.

• The Director’s decision will be final and binding in all respects.
