TEZPUR UNIVERSITY
Applications are invited for the temporary post of one (01) Research Associate in the DBT (U-EXCEL) sponsored project entitled “Sequencing genomes of some bacteria that invade/resides in tomato plant” under the Principal Investigator Associate Professor S.K. Ray, Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University.
Date of the Interview: 3rd July 2014
Venue: Committee Room (Adjacent to Department office room), Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University, Tezpur.
Duration: Two (02) years or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
Remuneration: Rs. 22,000/- (Rupees twenty two thousand) only + HRA (as per admissible) per month.
Qualification: Ph.D. degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/other relevant area from recognized university (thesis submitted can also apply).
Desirable: Should have experience in gene cloning and sequencing.
Age: Candidate should not be more than 40 years of age on the last date of receiving application. Upper age limit may be relaxed up to five years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically Challenged Candidates.
