WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Candidates are invited for a walk-in-interview to be held on Dt. 25.06.2014 at 10.00 AM for selection and engagement of the following positions under NFDB-NBFGR funded Project entitled ìNational Surveillance Programme for Aquatic Animal Diseases (Sub-Project No. 20). The posts are purely contractual and the engagement/appointment can be terminated at any time without prior intimation or without assigning any reason thereof. The incumbents shall not be entitled for any claim, either implicit or explicit, for absorption in this University, as the posts are co-terminus with the sub-project.

Name of Position : Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

No. of Posts : 2 (Two)

Remuneration : Rs.16,000/- fixed per month + HRA (for first two years)

Rs.18,000/- fixed per month + HRA (for subsequent years)

Qualification : Essential  M.F.Sc. (Aquatic Animal Health /Aquaculture)/ M.Sc. (Microbiology/Zoology with specialization in Fisheries) Desirable  Experience in Fish Disease/Microbiology  Good Knowledge on computer applications

Age : Should not exceed 35 years as on the date of interview

Period of Contract : Initially for a period of one year and likely to be extended till completion of the project (up to 31.03.2018) year wise, whichever is earlier; based on the satisfactory performances of the candidate. Nature of Work : The place of work is at College of Fisheries, Rangailunda, Berhampur. Candidates are required to collect diseased fish and shellfish samples from selected farms of districts like Ganjam, Raygada and Kalahandi. They have to carry out laboratory analysis of diseased samples, data compilation and report returns along with other project related administrative works.

The candidates are requested to report for the interview along with their Bio-Data (Five copies), two passport size photographs, one set of attested copies of all certificates justifying their qualifications and experience and related originals for verification on 25.06.2014 at 10.00 A.M. The interview will be held in the Committee Room of Directorate of Research, 2nd Floor, OUAT, Bhubaneswar. No TA /DA will be given to the candidates for appearing the interview.
