A walk-in Interview will be held in the office of the Head, Dept. of Chemical Engineering,
Jadavpur University, Kolkata-700032 on 11th July, 2014 (Friday) at 1.30 pm for the recruitment of one post of JRF in the MoES research Scheme entitled “Bioremediation of oil spills and removal of aromatic hydrocarbons using marine micro-organisms” under the supervision of Dr. Papita Das, Principal Investigator of the project, Dept. of Chemical Engineering, JU.

Number of the post : JRF (One) (Purely temporary)

Qualification : M.E or M.Tech in Chemical/Bio Technology/Bioprocess/Environmental
Engineering.

Or

M.Sc in Biochemistry/Microbiology/Environmental Science with NET/GATE Qualification.

Desirable : Working experience on the bioremediation/microbiological application.

Value: Rs. 15,000/- pm; (Consolidated)

Age: 30 Years Relaxable upto 5 years in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women and Physically  handicapped candidates)

Duration: 3 Years (renewable each year on performance basis)

prescribed form (Rs. 50/-) to be obtained from the Information Office of the University. Original as well as attested copies of all certificates, Mark sheets and testimonials are to be produced at the time of interview. No TA/DA is admissible.
