Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under Emeritus Scientist scheme CSIR
CSIR (ES) research project entitled: “Climatic stress adaptations in drosophilids: Impact of global warming in the western Himalayas”
Minimum qualifications: NET/GATE qualified with M. Sc./BE/B. Tech. (Life Science subjects) with specialization in Genetics, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with 55% marks.
Preference shall be given to the candidates with theoretical and practical knowledge of Drosophila handling and experimentation. Candidates having research publication in the concerned field would be preferred.
Salary: Rs. 12,000/-per month plus HRA as per university rules which will be co- terminus with the tenure of the project.
Age Limit: 28 years as on last date of receiving application (5 years relaxation for female/SC-ST/OBC candidates).
Candidates will be governed by the rules and regulations of CSIR.
All qualifications being equal, the SC-ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
