Indian nationals are invited for Walk-In-Interview on 04.08.2014 at about 10.00 AM for one temporary position of Project Assistant-II to work on a plant biology project “Plant derived mammalian immune responsive proteins to induce host protective immunity and its implication in translational research” funded by DBT, in the School of Biological Sciences, NISER.

Project Assistant-II:

QUALIFICATION: MSc (minimum 55% marks) in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Zoology/ Botany/ Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Physiology or any other similar stream in Biosciences.

FELLOWSHIP: Rs.8,000/- as per DBT rules

AGE: 28 years as on 04.08.2014, age relaxation as per DBT rules.

The above position is initially for a period of one year or completion of project whichever is earlier, not leading to any PhD degree in NISER and likely to be extended based on satisfactory performance. The position is strictly co-terminus with the project and therefore do not confer any right/ claim, implicit, or explicit for consideration/ absorption against any NISER post.

Interested candidates should appear for a walk in interview scheduled to be held on 04.08.2014 at about 10.00 AM at NISER Bhubaneswar along with their resume duly filled in all respect in the prescribed proforma (given in page 2-3 of this document) along with copies of all certificates at the time of interview with recent passport size photograph pasted on it. Original documents should be produced at the time of interview for verification. The selection will be made on the basis of Interview of the candidates. All candidates are requested to reach one hour before the scheduled time.

No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate, for appearing in the walk in interview or joining the position.
