WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Eligible candidates are invited to attend WALK-IN-INTERVIEW on the following date at 9.30 a.m. sharp for the following positions on the ad hoc research project entitled “Vitamin A metabolic pathway on region – specific adipose tissue development and its relevance to insulin resistance: A proteomic approach to sexual dimorphism”. The essential qualification, experience, consolidated Fellowship and service tenure are as under: The project is funded by DBT.

Essential Qualification : M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Bio-Technology from any recognized University.

The Candidates must have qualified in the CSIR/UGC or ICMR/PGI National Entrance Test (NET) under the category of lectureship or project JRF respectively.

Age : Below 30 years. Relaxation of age is admissible for SC/ ST/ OBC/PH candidates as per G.O.I. Rules

Consolidated Fellowship : Rs.12,000/-p.m.(Fixed) + 30% HRA without any other allowances

Tenure : Initially for one year; extendable for another two years based on the performance of the candidate and funds position.

The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualification (from SSC
onwards), experience and caste along with a photo and set of photo copies duly attested while attending the Walk-in-Interview.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: The conditions of employment will be the same as are for the project staff on contract basis. The candidates have no right to claim for any regular employment at this Institute. The Director & Appointing Authority has the right to accept / reject any application without assigning any reason and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained. The Candidates who belong to OBC category should submit the certificate of OBC issued by the respective Mandal Revenue Officer/ Tahsildar
of the respective State for the purpose of applying to the Central Government Employment.
