Eligible and interested candidates are invited for a walk-in-interview to be held at the campus of Directorate of Sorghum Research, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad – 500 030 on 11.09.2014 at 10:30 A.M for recruitment of one JRF and one Project Assistant positions as per the details given below.
JRF (1)
“DST Project on “Overcoming inter-specific barriers in sorghum and molecular characterization of inter-specific hybrid progeny for new adaptive traits”
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc, or M.Tech degree with minimum 60% marks in any branch of life sciences/biology
Desirable Qualifications:
1) CSIR/ARS NET/LS qualification
2) Experience in plant molecular biology and field work.
Rs.12,000/-+ HRA 30%

Project Assistant (1)

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc in biology with minimum 60% of marks.
Prior experience in any research lab and in field work is desirable.

The above post are purely temporary and on contractual basis till expiry of the project. The candidates shall submit Applications at the time of interview in the proforma enclosed along with a passport size and photograph and a set of attested copies of requisite mark-sheet, certificates and supporting documents. They have to produce all the original certificates at the time of interview for verifications. NO TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
The decision of the Director, DSR is final and binding in all respects.
Terms & Conditions:
1. The age limit of above position is up to 35 years for men and 40 years for women. The relaxation in upper age limit is permissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules.
2. The candidates have to produce his/her original certificates along with a set of Xerox and a photo, list of publication and other documents such as experience and caste certificate at the time of interview for verification and required to submit the bio-data in the format given below (affixing latest passport size photograph) along with attested copies of certificates of educational qualification.
3. The selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointment / absorption in DSR or funding agency at the end of the project.
